St. Patrick’s Day at school.
Los alumnos de Primer Ciclo estuvieron elaborando unos “lucky shamrocks” muy chulos con la ayuda de nuestra auxiliar de conversación Sofía. Seguro que nos cargan de buena fortuna para lo que queda de curso.

European Day of Languages
El 26 de septiembre la Unión Europea celebra el Día Europeo de las Lenguas, una iniciativa que busca promover el aprendizaje continuado de varios idiomas para los habitantes de este continente. Desde nuestro cole hemos querido tomar parte de esta iniciativa elaborando un mural con la palabra “respeto” escrita en muchos de los idiomas hablados en Europa, para lo cual todos los grupos han colaborado.

Parts of the body. 1st grade.
Lesson on body parts in English and Spanish. Students traced their own bodies to make a lifesize drawing of a person. Then, they cut out the labels of body parts and attached them to the image.

LOPE'S BOOK FAIR
We would like to welcome you all to our Book Fair, which will be held in the library (December 15th-19th). We have a great variety of new children's books to choose from, which you can buy to take home or even contribute to your child's classroom library! The aim is to encourage the children to enjoy and appreciate reading in other languages, as well as in French. Come along and see for yourself!

EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES
We celebrated the European Day of Languages last month. It is a the initiative of the Council of Europe, Strasbourg, the European Day of Languages that has been celebrated every year since 2001 on 26 September.
On the occasion of the day, a range of events are organised across Europe: activities for and with children, television and radio programmes, language classes and conferences.
So that , we did not want to lose the choice to celebrate this day. We hope you like it
